Every year the Department of Sociology offers an undergraduate Honors Program to provide some of our best students an opportunity to do independent research.This is a unique experience through which students sharpen their writing, thinking, research and communication skills. Participants complete the year-long program with an honors thesis and a set of skills that are valuable as students market themselves for jobs or apply to graduate programs.
