The Rutgers Sociology Department is thrilled to announce the addition of four new faculty members. Danielle Falzon (Ph.D. Brown, Expected 2022), an environmental sociologist, and Ricardo Martinez-Schuldt (Ph.D. North Carolina, 2019), a scholar of crime and migration, will join us as assistant professors in September 2022. Kevin Dahaghi (Ph.D. Texas, 2021), a sociologist of crime, law and punishment, joins us a year later in September 2023. Karam Hwang (Ph.D. North Carolina, 2021), a sociologist with interests in race, class and gender inequality, will be appointed as an assistant teaching professor beginning in September 2022. We cannot wait to welcome them!
