I'm an Assistant Professor of Urban Planning at the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation working in the areas of community economic development, commercial revitalization, minority entrepreneurship, civic capacity and neighborhood change. In 2007, I established the Community & Capital Action Research Lab (C2ARL) as a space for critical analysis, scholarly research and community engagement on questions of central importance for progressive community planning amid economic restructuring.
