Woojung earned her B.A. and M.A. in Urban Sociology from the University of Seoul, Republic of Korea. Her research interests include work-family relationships, gendered workforce participation, and inequality across the life course. Her master’s thesis examined how nonstandard work schedules influence individuals’ leisure participation patterns, aiming to uncover and address the broader societal impacts of being desynchronized from the collective rhythms of social life.
