His work investigates how states and civil societies respond to large-scale social transformations across global and local contexts. His previous research includes an analysis of how journalists negotiated editorial autonomy amid structural shifts in Taiwan’s media market, and a master’s thesis on how Taiwanese financial regulators mobilized non-financial disclosure regulations in capital markets in response to domestic controversies and global net-zero pressures. Chun-Ching’s current research focuses on the emergence, transformations, and consequences of transnational climate finance governance.
