Doctoral Student

Yasmeen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rutgers University, with certificates in both Public Policy Economics and Quantitative Economics. Her research interests draw on the intersection between education, community, and immigration. Her most recent position was as an Education Equity researcher at Research Triangle Institute International, where her work has centered on using data to inform more inclusive education policies and practices, while also developing a vast array of data resources to support other researchers. Yasmeen hopes to support community-centered change by bridging the gap between research and lived experience.
