Doctoral Student

Allegra received her B.A. from Swarthmore College in 2014, where she majored in History and Political Science. Following graduation, she worked as the senior center coordinator for the Center on Children and Families at the Brookings Institution, a public policy think tank in Washington, DC. Allegra's research focuses on the impacts of mass incarceration for families and loved ones. She works with support groups across the country to mitigate the stigma of having a loved one incarcerated.
